ROLE: Curriculum Development & Partner Success Lead
Location: Remote (U.S.‑based) | Travel: ~20% (PD delivery & partner visits)
Reports to: Chief Product & Technology Officer | Start Date: Summer 2025
Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 (based on experience)

As our third full‑time hire, you will be instrumental in shaping tens of thousands (potentially millions) of students’ futures through owning Willow’s curriculum development and improvement and partner success playbook. You will build and refine lessons, design professional learning, and coach schools to impactful implementation. We’re looking for someone who loves leading impactful coaching and professional development, and spends their time geeking out on pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities
► Curriculum Development & Iteration
Expand and iterate on our purpose-led curriculum, aligning with postsecondary & workforce readiness and durable skills standards. This includes:
Scope and sequence design
Curating aligned resources
Lesson planning
Creating all student-facing resources
Assessment design
Embed AI‑native workflows while bringing your earned judgment and expertise.
► Professional Development & Partner Success
Design and execute the full onboarding process for new customers.
Design and monitor success plans for each customer based on their intended use of Willow.
Design and deliver engaging PD sessions (virtual & on‑site).
Coach educators through implementation cycles, using data to celebrate wins and troubleshoot barriers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer questions and concerns.
Serve as the voice of the customer— using our insights to inform product development.
► Cross‑Functional Execution
Juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced startup.
Use customer insights to inform product roadmap, design, and engineering decisions.
Many other projects and tasks, as needed.
Qualifications
✔ 3+ years in grades 6‑12 with teacher‑leader and/or assistant principal level experience.
✔ Proven success designing secondary curriculum and delivering high‑impact PD.
✔ People leader: Your charisma, intelligence, and humility leave people wanting to learn more from you.
✔ AI‑zealot—you have opinions on the differences between models, and favorites for each task. You were vibe coding back in 2024.
✔ Exceptionally organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑managed.
✔ Track record of exceptional results.
Nice to Haves: Post‑secondary success work, edtech/startup experience, partnership success management
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary: $60,000 – $85,000 (based on experience) and early‑stage equity in a growing PBC
